This still appeals as colour always does for me. I work at monochrome and watch people like you who know their art and craft. I am learning to love the blackness yet here I see so much more. The ferns having died over the plains leaving rusting coloured and textured foliage of low growing plantlife. Over tan coloured base . Water is power in the frame and runs haphazardly in the foreground. The paths, road and trails traverse the vision of freezing cold. Then mountains topped with a smattering of white snowflakes and makes the sky softer and less focussed than the monochrome. The lines of scree lost, having allowed dry rivulets of ground to form. I find this a wonder of our beautiful world and we should respect mother nature by loving the land more. This would make a lovely snow globe.........Lovely Mandy
