In my stories and novels avail figure as main characters.
But two of them are really... dark and unattractive-looking.

unfortunately, an avali colony has been wiped out by a massive explosion.
unfortunately, no one knew the cause of it until...
they found an avali who had visual augmentations added to him including recording equipment.
the recording equipment was destroyed but the chip with footage was still recovered.
here is the found footage of his last moments.
