My father was never one to shy away from a camera, but he'd never seek one out either. I took this during the Summer, when I was testing the digital camera I bought that was still fairly new at the time. He kindly posed for a few photos, and this is one of the better ones. I know he wouldn't since he would have allowed me to post another image from 3 years ago (which I might still do so, thinking over it now).

My father was a crude, down to earth, realistic man that, no matter what type of bitter mood he may have been in, was still able to get everyone in the room to think of him as family.

And he will be missed.

I love you, dad.
