Description Yaay, done with the first 2D school assignment. ^^ Could've polished it a bit more I guess, but here goes.

The assignment was to create an environment concept depicting a historical era of choice. I chose to paint my scene in a 19th century european city, since I need practice painting cities, hehe...

I think I did quite good getting the perspective right, but I'm not too happy with the colors. I started painting this one in grayscale, which mostly works fine, but sometimes the transition to starting adding color can be terrible. Bwah. But it looks alright now. :/

Also painted two more pictures for the assignment, but ultimately chose this one as the one to hand in. Will upload the other ones later.

Constructive criticism would be much appreciated~!

I'm not sure why yet... but I really love this.

Maybe it reminds me of Doctor Who... Humm.

My favorite part is the... sky bridge? Thing in the center. It's my favorite thing to see in city landscapes. Weather it be 19th century or modern or steampunk. I love it. I also like what you did with the rain water on the ground. good use of the lighting.

I love it. Try to add more colors and maybe some textures to the walls?

Textures is a good idea, don't know how to go about adding more colors though. :s But I'm glad you like it!
