About 2 years ago I found out that the date people would celebrate her was December 18. It was after that discovery I felt almost honored that my birthday is the same day. She is a beautiful goddess and you have done a gorgeous job!

Do you do commisions? I really like LOVE this piece! I like all your art, but this is one of my favs! So I was hoping when it comes time for my birthday maybe you could draw me with the goddess and the horses?

I might could. I am very, very iffy about commissions. Most of the time I just can't bring myself to do it... I have to be inspired to do any art, even things like this. Get in touch with me closer to your birthday, and we'll see what mood I'm in. It's not a snotty thing, and it's not you personally, I just am one of those people who could never, ever be a commercial artist. O_o Maybe it's a failing, I dunno. Heh. Hope you understand!

I completely understand.
Now, I do my best to not get in that kind of situation. I find it easier to tell the person upfront that there is always the possibility that if I feel things are a bit off, I end the shoot right then. I've had a couple of people think I was just being snotty and uppity, until they see the end results of the photos and can compare them with the ones where there was great energy flowing.

I'm not a snob!! Really though, it is good to know there is at least one other other there who works the same way. My sister-in-law is bugging me all the time about setting up a shoot with her. And I want to, but I'm just not feeling anything yet. It's frustrating to for both of us that I have to keep saying no and I can't tell her when it will happen. grrr

Epona turned out wonderful! I love her big black, myopic eyes and the ghostly horsey image. I'm not sure why, but her face strongly suggest gaulish, and that is fantastic.
Also I hate the categories.

That's even more excellent, then. If you're interested ^Cedarseed has a very interesting guide to human face shapes and features by ethnotype, but i think caucasians aren't as developed as the asian set. I can't remember.
