Almost the whole time while I was painting this, Sting's Secret Marriage song was going through my head.
This is a little painting, maybe three by five or six? On a big block of wood that didn't like taking my watered down acrylics and destroyed two of my ink pens. The scanner ate a lot of the detail work in the demon there, which makes me sad.
So many pretty colors lost.wood, ink, watered down acrylics.

I actually got a LOT of inspiration from Fra Angelico's Annunciation picture, with the peacock wings on Gabriel being those colors, instead of greens and whatnot.
