Over my 3 week break, I was assigned a still life assignment by my painting teacher. We had to paint a glass and metal object, as well as some kind of fabric.
So, I chose to paint a wine glass, my mums car keys, a cork and a white table cloth. My idea was to tell a story, which with this, I'm sure, is obvious

We had to create two paintings, one monochromatic (with one item at least) and a coloured one, with all three required items. My first painting is hidieous, so I'm not posting that one xD But after finishing that one, and my family knowing easily that I could do better, I sat down, took my second painting step by step at a steady pace, and finished it successfully. Its not the best painting aha (I can see areas that I could probably fix up), but for me, not being a painter, I'm pretty happy with it, and easily can declare this my best painting so far.
