This was done for my Digital Illustration class. We had to do a triptych about a creature of our choosing, and I chose mice becuase I'm working on a project (you'll see!) that involves getting to know how to draw mice more than I've ever done before! It started as a really quick sketch assignment, and then I decided that i was enjoying it. So really, it's just some experiments with some new techniques in photoshop and practice with color. I did this all really quickly, but it made me happy, hopefully it will make you happy too!

What a sweet little mouse! I feel there is a story behind this lovely colourful piece, but for now I'll simply enjoy the feeling of knowing which image I will look at every time I need to brighten my day. Beautiful work!

Somehow this moved me. It remains me about the animal fantasy books I used to read when I was younger.
The colors are so, so beautiful and very different on each of them. I could almost taste the story...

I favorited this piece ages ago, yet I never commented. I abousoloutely love this drawing, the colours are so vivid, and the details are great. This reminds me of a book my aunt bought me but I never read, about a mouse who tries to find his way home. I also really like the texture of this piece. Great job!

I really like how your mouse has such a human quality to it, but at the same time reads distinctly as a mouse. Very tricky to do.

Seriously though, this is a great departure from the normal tone of your work (not that I'm encouraging you to stop all of your kick-ass epic stuff), and I love the use of the colored linework on the mouse.
