A charcoal and pastel immitation facial study. I was so stunned with this technique (which I saw in the works of Marielutine artist - www.deviantart.com/marielutine ) that I've decided to do a similar digital study of one of her works. Very awesome style which I think I'll borrow for some artworks . Marielutine, love your gallery and hope you'll forgive me for making a study of your original work.

p.s. Yes, "The Eldar" was supposed to be from the Lord of the Rings lore, but somewhere closer to the end of this work I understood that pointy ears simply didn't suite here, so don't go hard on me LotR fans
