I hate how people THINK "EW RATS!" when you mention them, but when they see them in cute photos, etc, they are always like "DAWWWW"......
I've always loved rats and I've always tried to convice people of how sweet and loveable they are.... but people just don't get it sometimes.

My brother in law had a rat when he was a teenager. He's told me it was one of the most lovable and affectionate animals he's ever had. People are too quick to judge.

Yes, I've had 6 in my life so far. ^_^ I've loved them, but unfortunatly, they don't have long lifespans, which is sad for such a sweet pet - you get so attached... but they don't live more than a few years usually... and it's heartbreaking. They are certainly worth every year of friendship.

i'm not a fan in general but i have met some sweet ones at the humane soceity & when i hold them anyone who comes by is basically like D= eww rat I can't believe you'd touch that thing
