How do you get that shadow????
i keep trying and the shadow get's all blocky

are you using Mental Ray? If so Are you using Final Gather as lighting? If so Did you take out any light source and put in super white cubes to light with final gather? If so Did you higher the raytrace sums according to your scene?
If you didn't do any of these I suggest you do and then you'll see the results.
