I was afraid I wasn't going to get this one done in time.

Years ago a got a copy of Platinum but never finished it, For my birthday last year I got a copy of Pearl I decided to play and I decided that I wanted to use that team in my picture because I never had a "champion team" in Platinum because I never got that far. (I plan on playing through it sooner rather than later!)

Only problem was actually beating the game, it took me a couple of times to actually get to Cynthia and when I finally took her title, I used a team of Empoleon, Staraptor, Luxray (original, I know.) Lucario, Bonsly and Palkia. Palkia was originally a Chingling, But I figured I needed someone a bit stronger to help beat the league. I was very originally going to have Munchlax instead of Chingling, But I tried for about a month and never found one, So Chingling, then Palkia it was!

I enjoyed my team and a fun time playing through the game. Another reason why it took me so long was because I was also reading the Diamond and Pearl manga and I'm still watching the Diamond and Pearl anime, I didn't want to read the manga because I didn't want to "spoil" the game, But at times I didn't feel like playing the game and I wanted to read the books, So I was stuck in this uncomfortable boredom. (BTW the manga was great. Go read all of the manga! So excited for the full volumes of X&Y next year!)

Overall, I really enjoyed Cynthia's character. I don't think she's my favorite champion like a lot of others, But she's up there as one of/if not the most interesting champion!

Onto the picture, I think it came out good! I was surprised by the amount of Black and White in the background, I was thinking that would be more fitting for last months... But it really works with Cynthia's Team!

I'm also very excited for Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl later this year and Legends Arceus early next year!! I still don't know which version I'm getting, I need to decide soon so I can preorder them! Very excited to see what's in store in Legends Arceus!

Anyway, I think that's it! I'm really excited to start next month's drawing!

(BTW the hat is supposed to be a beanie hat, Not a beret.)
