Description Yay, a Final Fantasy IX fanart. I don't illustrate too many of those. I like how this one came out. I was browsing through my old fanart and decided which ones needed revising(and many of them do). I found one, revised it, and this is the final product. Unfortuneately, there's no background. Boo hoo. During my sketch of this, I had Zidane's head originally in profile mode(which was what the old fanart had) but it started to look funny so repositioned the head. Dagger is in the same pose but her legs are rearranged differently. Yes, Zidane's hands are over Dagger's breasts but I don't mean for it to be sexual in any kind of way.

This is beautiful. I love the shading, and also how you've done Zidane's hair and Garnets' soft features. Also the way his hands fold over her is really well sweet, like he's protecting her.

It's hard to position a hand on the chest like that. If you put it too close to the head it looks awkward, sorta like they're choking the person, and where you have it (which is where it should be) can be mistaken for other things >> Darn technicalities D:

So true. I'm glad it came out the way it did. I don't want people getting the idea that Zidane was putting Dagger in the choke-hold. LOL.
