_____Random Info
The last remnants of Mammoth Hot Springs...
I must say that I was pretty crestfallen when I arrived. Even though the weather was pretty nice, with beautiful clouds and some chilly winds the actual sight was pretty uninteresting. People told me that the pictures that you see for tourist information which fill you with a certain anticipation are sometimes more than 20 years old. So the actual size of the Mammoth Hot Springs has shrunken over the recent decades. And I had to drive 3 hours to get there because the northern route was blocked due to roadwork. But this shot was actually pretty nice, so I guess it was worth the time.

_____Update Info
Somehow I wasn't content with the black frame and the sharpness of the jpg, so I changed the frame and resharpened the image after the png conversion. This way the edges of the rocks look way better.

I really love the variety of tones and colours in this picture, not to mention how nice the composition is. Very well-crafted photo you've taken here.

Thanks, glad someone mentiones the composition since I took quite alot of pictures from different angels at this spot not knowing how the composition would be best, but I somehow ended up deciding this is the one.
