Description "The Empress of the Moon took the juicy fruit being offered by the Chancellor of the 12th Level with great care and admiration. This ritual was performed every year when the Gastropian people gave a small ceremonial part of their first harvest to honor the Monarch of The Tower for her help in providing the energy necesary for an auspicious crop that'd feed most of The Tower. The Empress, in turn, enjoyed these brief contacts with her subjects as it made her task tangible and not only a mindless repetition night after night."

#inktober2017 's Day 23 was a bit tricky. The prompt word didn't give me any direct inspiration pertaining "Utopia". But I guess that's just the nature of the challenge because when imagination finally hit, it did so strongly. So strongly, in fact, that I designed a whole new species inside The Tower as well as a way for it to be supplied of food. I guess it's like that saying goes "inspiration exists but it has to find you working".

I hope you enjoy this one as usual and see you tomorrow!

Nic.-

Gastropians are like that; a mix of cute and 'Ugh'. Haha.

Splendid Work, master Nicolas - it's nice to see an image of Utopia that matches the name rather than subverts it.

Although in all fairness "Utopia" actually means "No Place" ("Nowhere"), while "Eutopia" means "Best of Places" so I may be mistaken! (I believe that this ambiguity - the two words are actually pronounced almost-identically - may have been deliberately cultivated by Sir Thomas More when he first created the term).
