Description Happy Tuesday, folks!

Working as a freelancer has its ups and downs and sometimes the work you do isn't exactly what you expected when you decided this would be your day-to-day job; it still beats working in any other medium (at least for me!). But other times, the planets align to bring to your table a project that not only gives you your daily income, but is also incredibly amazing to draw.

Such is the case with Nightfell.

This graphic novel project has been slowly brewing for more than three years and I can honestly say it is some of the best work of my career. The story, written by Jeremiah Tolbert  is a pure joy of a tale, with all the right ammount of twists, homages and originality to delight in every page. Having the project overseen by the folks at Outland LLC  is also a huge plus, since they've given me complete freedom to envision this world as I see fit, which had me filled with glee at every new design I came up with.

This illustration here is one of the character portraits I'm working on while we wrap up the final few pages of the novel, to expand the universe Nightfell is set in and to have material for a potential RPG. The fellow you see here stitching up that undead soldier is called Larn and is one of our main characters; an embalmer and priest who works alongside the Corpseguard when the night cycle is upon the world to defend the living against the horros that lay below. Yes, in this story, zombies actually help humanity, instead of shambling around eating brains

So, I hope you enjoy this world as much as I enjoy building it up and look out for more news soon.

OOOoooh, finally, some out-of-the-box thinking with the undead, definitely cool!

Thank you as usual, my dear Tina! Indeed, one of the most important things for me was using zombies differently than they usually are and that's one of the main concenrs I passed down to the writer. His response to the conundrum was perfect
