Description
Here is the cover to the third issue of Blackbeard's Legacy, by ~BLUEWATERPROD .Here we see our heroine hannah, against the fury of the sea god Nereus, but I won't give away anymore or my editor will kill me.
I'm quite proud of this illustration as a whole and I think it'll make a great covver. I've tested some textures (like the ones you see on the rocks there) and other water-y effects that add a lot of mood to the whole.
But I won't judge my own work, let me hear your thoughts on it!

Great work again Nicholás! If you don't mind my asking, what are you using for the foamy water splashes? Is that acrylic, white out, gouache? It's a great effect. I almost want to see more. Well, not more so much as more random.

Thanks, Shannon! And yes, you hit the nail with your first guess: It's acrylic splattered with a sponge... quite a 'messy' technique until you get the hang of it.

Indeed he has, and I couldn't be happier with the work you've done, mate. It's truly amazing to be able to lay back and now that there's a great talent colouring your lines; you have no idea how many times I've said 'Ugh!' when I've seen one of my pages coloured by someone else...

Well, as people have said before me, again a very neat illustration from your hands and mind.
Now for my critique:
The texture-splashes that makes the water look "foamy" are marvelous and totally works.
The "full colour" thing you know Im not to fond of (I like it better when you just have grayscale and one ore two 'in-your-face-colours'
It's a nice composition colourwise, and I think the choice of colours for the sea-god was very clever, as if you would have picked a more blue hue it wouldn't have looked as dynamic.
...what? Critique can be postive only you know...

Actually, I didn't spend quite as much time as I thought I would; I was quite inspired when I illustrated this image, and so it came out like lightning!
