Great photo and the concept. 'Light steps' . Maybe every step is a dream and with every step you make a dream come true. It also looks like something from a science fiction movie. Maybe this is a space ship. But it also reminds me of The Matrix.

Nice colors captured, great glow. I visualize it probably far different than you. I see it as seeing the world different than the norm. Setting different standards. Sometimes it takes small steps to get where you are going, sometimes the steps will be neverending. The green reminds me of a more futuristic feel. Which then reminds me of this book in which the steps are way different in the future. Could mean so many things. I really love the photo itself though. It really draws your eyes in, it is very vibrant yet dark at the same time. The capture of the neon is perfect!

for the light part of it, yeahit might be going to heaven or whatefer. for the steps , it reminds me of a movie theatre so you dont trip. biut also if you think of the steps, they are sort of invisivble. either that or you would have to run and leap with some nimbleness. i ima1gine doing that as you might see in a movie. beside thinking aobut the tiel, i love the matrix stlye look to it, futuristic architechureal shot. this is one of my favorties among my top favorites.

Mm I really am quite drawn to green at the moment, this image is great though. I think someone already said it's quite sci-fi, but it seems almost kind of grungy too (in a cleanish way - contradiction I know) but I suppose that all comes from the fact it is underground, the shadows also make it seem a little brooding. Nice work.

hmmm... perhaps ..
it is a thoughtfull visual anology
for looking at the world in a different way
looking upside down..
inside out..
the possibilities..

the steps to understanding
should be gentle..
they should be light

and they should be green

chibiyin [2004-07-21 01:52:00 +0000 UTC]

They hardly look like steps to me... so I don't really see the "stairway to heaven" aspect of it... It looks like some sort of tunnel out of SciFi, and that it would go along with the second meaning better... It also looks somewhat hyperspace-esque to me, with the green lights of the stairs getting closer in the back... maybe a transcendental travelling-type thing. I don't know. *shrug*

Well I see it two ways. The literal way of steps made of lighting or stepping lightly on those steps (don't break the glass).

Beautiful green tones. A great perspective. Perfect symmetry. And a .
