Originally this pic was supposed tp be with animated water background but that isn't easy to upload sadly, so now the water is painted better and the body is redrawn - this pose is frustrating even with proper reference!!! *shakes fist*

haha. I cant even remember when I had a break with this illustration course. all the projects overlap so theres no real break, well unless we break things in frustration

Her face looks to me so mature, I don't know how to express myself better. And I like it. I think Lara should be older, not a kid jumping around a jungle only. She should be looking for wisdom.
Shading is excellent. I think you gave her a little too skinny thighs. But that is just my wish. She looks perfect

I am just wondering now, with the new creative direction, what will grown-up TR Lara be like? Will she be anything like that, the Lara we are used to?

I just don't know what to expect - the word reboot is a bit scary lol. Will they elaborate on that with the ads on the upcoming game?

You don't have anything to worry about. The essence of Lara stays. You will certainly get more info and feeling about Lara in the upcoming coverage.

(And this artwork is really, really amazing, I love the animated one too).

This is TOTALLY WIN! Seriously, that really IS Lara how she should be! I'm a total fan of this and she is really the classic and awesome Lara we all love TR III is one of my favourite Tomb Raiders ever and the Ora Dagger is my favourite artefact together with South Pazific as my favourite levels!
And you know, this is kinda my favourite Tomb Raider and Lara picture I have ever seen
