All right, to explain the picture~
The reason there are dead, burnt trees and dead, burnt grass is because it had been set on fire. That's the smoke rising from the trees, and the reason the mist is there.
Requiem, in his human life, set two houses aflame before he was shot by a policeman and died in his room.
