Wonderful blue toning, I'm guessing this is the Sound?
Your exposure on this is excellent, nice balance of light and dark areas. I would suggest a little burning down near the bottom of the longer pier fence. The flat side in the back is so dark and it would be nice to see a fade of light. Those clouds are indeed amazing, great moment to capture them.
Grain is nice in most of this photo, but I think it ends up making the water look a bit like a sandy desert. This would be due to brisk winds creating short and choppy wave lengths in the water. When the water is lashing around so closely and you are far out the closenes of the grain can interfere with the tight water commotion.
In whole this is a well done photo, in this situation I would pass on using grain though. Or add grain in post-processing and just mask off the water area.

This photo takes me back to Norway when I was younger. Reminds me of a fjord where I went fishing one holidays, and I'd never felt more alone.
