You're a genius when it comes to backgrounds-- they're lush and subtle at the same time. This piece is no exception. However, I feel that the subject doesn't totally match the background in this case-- she's too smooth and perfect and seems out of place. Also her blue lip/tongue distracts me from the rest of the piece.

She doesnt' even look real, it's that good. At first glance, I thought it was digitally drawn. I love the textures in the background. They're really well done. I also like how her hand is positioned. It just gives off something from her, that I really like. I can't wait to see the rest of the series. I love element series, so this one should be pretty interesting.
