So wonderfully vibrant, bright and interesting, I love how the enire shot is filled; how you have used all the availible space and captured specifically the part of the flower that you find most intersting. The detail in focus is wonderful and you really have balanced the picture well by centering in the focus on the head. I love the colours and shades brought in by the natural reflecion of the white centre.
The petal in the foreground makes the piece seem so much deeper, a truly 3 dimesnional feel. The specals of the pollen really make the petals more interesting. It seems to be reaching for the light and you have encapsulated this perfectly. I love this shot, it is very poewrful, well done.

One of the things that attracts me to works of art is color. The colors in this peice are vibrant and give off a very positive feeling, at least to me. Also, the size of the flower and the bright colors, and the fact that there is no background in the photo remind me of Georgia O'Keefe's work on canvas. Beautiful work!

I'm the exact opposite of all the comments I actually read here... I really dislike the splatters of pollen. Other than that, this is the perfect floral portrait. The lighting, focus, and everything just seem to fit into place. Well done.
