Description A 300 fanart, referenced mixing some different screen captures from the movie.

Used expecially oils and palette knives, to maintain a "rough" look. (as Corel Painter brushes, of course! )

It was a fun to paint and a good chance to give a first try to male anatomy (even if I suspect these spartans have got some more muscles than a normal human being )

something different from my usual for my gallery, hope you'll like it anyway

I forced myself too... the anatomy is not really perfect, to say the truth... I took reference from some different still images from trailers on internet and the quality was so low I actually had to imagine most of the body... I think I misplacen some muscles, but well...

I believe someone has a case of "I'm my worst critic" :3 hehe. I believe even if you did misplace some muscles, he'd still be worthy to be in the spartan army ow ow ;D hahah.

I totally have a case of "I'm very unsure of what I paint"... and yes, I suppose "I'm my worst critic" too!

zì zì... io e i disegni dei fumetti non andiamo d'accordo... così per fare una fanart di un fumetto sono passata a fare la fanart di un film tratto da un fumetto!!

Sì, non avevo mai disegnato un corpo intero (o quasi)... anche per questo motivo ho dovuto basarmi molto sui fotogrammi, non sono certo in grado di inventarmelo!

eheheh... magari allora mi cimenterΓ² in una versione wallpaper... (non ne ho mai fatti... penso che equivarrΓ  solo a mettere l'immagine nelle proporzioni adeguate... )
