This reminds me. Since moving to Boston, I haven't checked out THAT city's China Town. Philadelphia's China Town was one of my favorite haunts when I went to college in the area, and I discovered the Pet Shop of Horrors manga in a local comics/manga shop during that time as well. On my visits there, or to San Francisco's Japan Town pavilion, I often imagined that just around the next corner, I could glimpse Count D's traveling menagerie.
Of course, if I don't find him there, I know Lady M and a couple of other bakeries and patisseries that he would likely indulge his aching sweet tooth.
