Yes, and I've actually been to a zoo where they had one of these (due to an 'accident') but unfortunately he was nowhere to be seen when I was there

Wow, I've seen a Liger in the past, I've never thought a big cat could get any bigger.
And for the bear he was probably sleeping it up, who knows the patterns it will follow now that it's mixed with two different species of bear.

I'd love to see a liger 'for real', I've seen videos and they're truly impressive animals.
And, yeah, that's what I figured as well. Probably inherited the hibernation-gene from his brown bear parent.
