When I first saw Generator Rex I thought that guy was agent Smith from the Matrix film franchise.
Seriously, these guys have similar facial structures, clothes, glasses, they're both agents and their names are pronounced pretty similar!Does that mean...*gasp...is Generator Rex an illusion of the Matrix? Is Rex just dreaming about all of his adventures and Agent Six is Smith in disguise?

I always thought the Agents were knockoffs of one random character in the movie version of "Akira"...namely the one random...well, "agent" who shows up and blocks Kaneda and company from approaching the spazzing-out Tetsuo.

Looking at it now, I doubt GR is an allusion of the Matrix, but...I have a feeling Agent Six might've drawn quite a bit of inspiration from Smith. Smith is his evil twin.

and the ones couples that I ship from the first seconds of the show start this is Six and Holiday, Kanan and Hera from Star Wars Rebels. My two fav shows forever.
