because you know you'd deserve it.I suppose there is not much to explain about this photo, not much to talk about ... merely the fact that I want to achieve some awareness. I'm not a fan taboo issues. Living in a country where it is said that you are entitled to your opinion and you can speak your mind freely, I see no point in covering things up and pushing them away from our mouths and minds. It seems to me as if so many are living in an illusion of beautiful perfection, and I don't mean to deny that life and the earth are a magnificent thing - still, I personally believe, we couldn't appreciate that beauty without experiencing the devastating parts as well.
but anyway. as a wise woman that I'd helped moving houses once said;
- "this is it with that part of my life"

This... is a really beautiful, haunting photograph. I have had past experience with cutting... and it's something that won't ever be so far away from me. This really just hit something for me, and I really do love the photograph.

Excellent concept! And it seems that sometimes we just baptize experiences as "beautiful" or "perfect" to blind ourselves to the high probability that someone else could come along and have an equal and opposite reaction to the same experience.
The philosopher Heraclitus talked around this idea of a harmony of opposites in a number of his fragments. Perhaps Heraclitus thinks that arbitrary labels, such Justice/Injustice or Hunger/Satiety or Pleasure/Pain, cloak an underlying unity in the world. A unity that is best characterized with our senses and self-reflection, rather than our blind acceptance of arbitrary categories, labels, and ideal distinctions. Heraclitus mistrusts popular attempts to divide the world, say, into good and bad with mere blunt words, which miss the unity and dependence they have on each other.

At first, I thought you had been filing the nails because: 1. I have terrible eye vision 2. Your expression.
I was kinda disappointed that it wasn't a nail filer! But, I am glad that your bringing awareness to a very serious matter.

ooh, the lighting! about that, my father bought the wrong bulp for our hallway and now the light is really blue and cold .. so if you'd want light that, just buy the wrong light bulbs.
