i'm glad that you liked it! ^^ yes, they are! if i'd knew how to write down in English what did i feel back then, when i was there, then i'd say it exactly like the way you said it! it was so good being there, and listening to my father's childhood stories. sometimes i wish that that house, where he lived, would still be there and go there on a holidays.

yes, it does grow there but poppies here are weeds, so you can't find that much on fields.

It sounds like it brings back many beautiful memories. I envy you for having a sort of place like that from your childhood...I grew up in quite a busy place :/

Weeds can be beautiful too but it's a shame they are a rarity as you say

yeah, it does brig back memories. envy me?? that's whimsical (just found it in the dictionary. i think tis my new fav eglish word ) i did grow up in a little town, but i didn't have that kinda memories, my dad has he grew up in a little village, and my mom too, so they have that kinda place from their childhood, not me . and when we have some time, we go back there. the town's name in english is Small Market (word to word translation )

rarity or not, if i have the opportunity then i'll make as many pics of weeds as i can

Yeah, my dad grew up on a farm and I've always liked the idea of having so much freedom as a child and while I did have a good childhood, it was quite an urbanised one thus why I envy the fact that you grew up or know such a place so well xD

Happy to find you a new favourite word and the translation of this village is actually quite cool

We also have beautiful scenary here and it's nice to be able to escape to it whenever you can

Well what sounds odd to you sounds perfectly typical to any person who speaks English natively and the same thing appies with Serbian

Scenary means a view...or the aspects of a place...I think that's the best way to explain it.

no prob and yes! you can't imagine how many words/expressions/sentences are there which sound odd to me in English... xD and the oddness of these expressions increases sometimes(!) when you use your fancy words XD (no offence )
