just me, I promise my day was more uplifting than my pout suggests, but there is that lingering sadness. I'm hanging in there
My daughter had a wonderful day, she got tons of candy and probably too many presents but she deserves it ^_^ We plan to stay up late watching movies and doing more easter type things...making Easter cards for my Mum who is passed, plastic egg hunts and probably tummy aches from too much sugar Hoping all of you are spending time with your loved ones in whatever way you can, whether it's close or far. comments always appreciated!

Ah, it's nice to hear that your moppet had a good Easter! My younger nephew told his mom, back when he was about 8 or 9, that she should just bring his eggs in for him. She said the Easter Bunny wanted him to search for them, but he stopped her and said, "Mom, do you really think I believe in a giant man-bunny bringing candy? Nah, candy is fine but I would rather keep my pants dry instead of searching through wet grass."
He's been 40 since birth.
It is wonderful that you provided so many activities, and included your mom in them. That's a wonderfully upbeat way to celebrate both the holiday and her as well.
