My long lasting preparations for the next cross country competitions are starting to annoy me. And what am I occupying myself with, when I have nothing to do, Gatecrasher needs some rest and my dressage have been dallied off for a while? Yup, that’s right– I’m taking Unbreakable and setting off to master my skills. Well, god saves Jazz from seeing this fail. In this case I will be publicly humiliated. However, as soon as I sat in the saddle, I understood that wasn’t that bad. At least, the half-passes went fine.

Sadly, not everything was that nice: the pirouettes were completely kicked out of my memory and it took me half an hour to accomplish them without being ashamed of myself. Ah, that was another story with gallop. How can Quentin do it with the rhythm of the music?! Explanation is needed! Hahaha…Maybe it’s indeed easier like that – I’ve never done the freestyle dressage and it’s better I never start. But I should catch that guy one day when he’s working on his freestyle with music on…

Going on with my under-dressage, Break has completely forgotten the extended allures. Of course, that was only me to blame, cuz that was my flesh that thought it would be enough to take him only for the free workouts couple of times a week or for a ride in a forest. So, here you go, Lara – that’s the result: no leg stretching, no impulse, Break’s head up in the air. But anyways, dressage’s worth coming back to it even for a while.

In the end, I somehow was able to make Break trot in a beautiful extended manner diagonally. I myself have already forgotten how to move my body, to command Break and stuff like that.

After finishing the workout, I, however, was pretty content with myself. At least a couple more of dressage trainings a week and I’m back in the line. Practice makes perfect, huh. Wait. How come I suddenly became a philosopher?
