Happy New Year 2019! 
I thought it was finally time to post this after making some last minute changes and
deciding that the new year would follow this piece’s message better~
"In the Same Dream" is a continuation of "Create Your Journey ", being a part of my first
VisCom project in the final, 12th spot in the order.
While the first referenced freely creating, and the journey that follows, this iteration references
the new perspective and skills attained thanks to my first semester after high school.
By showcasing almost two planes (one level with the water and girl, and another looking down
on the boat sailing on air) and placing the boat higher on the canvas, I worked to show a change
in perspective that brings one up to new heights. Tying in to Create Your Journey, I utilized similar
components such as the same boat, moon, water, red birds, and circular elements.
I remember enjoying the process for this final piece so much! Despite being a part of project 1, it
was worked on later in the semester and was such a stress-reliever in times when I was deliberating
over other ideas and designs. I always reference comfort zones, but amidst everything, this painting
truly was a comfort to go back to; to go ahead and paint in my favourite digital style after not doing
so for longer than I usual would. Before, I felt it wasn't done, probably wasn't successful yet since it
took a shorter time to finish than expected. This piece ended up being a great eye-opener for me, in
terms of understanding not to overwork my creations.

Absolutely gorgeous! I really love your use of colour in this one. Its warm and brings a real feeling of being in a surreal dreamland. This is an odd thing to say but I also admire your restraint on the details, this could of been over detailed so easily but you nailed it with the rest areas and textures. Lovely work

You did a great job on combining the two different perspectives in the picture. All the shown elements are merging perfectly, as well as the fitting colours you've chosen.
