Heh...never let it be said that I don't finish stuff! I do! U^U It might just take me 8 months... xDPoor Thor, I started this in July and then forgot it. Repeatedly. Often willingly. I have mixed feelings about this, I even parodized this a few months ago XDD One of the reasons I ended up drawing this [link] is because I thought (and still think) Thor's pose was ridiculous :3 At the same time colouring this was a lot of fun and when a few days ago I retouched everything and finished it I realized I've improved in these months (well it's not as if you can get worse with time, but let me just be content for once XDD) So it was better for Thor to wait this long, I guess. So don't electrocute me, blondie, okay?
The face was done by drawing a Thorlike face first, and then checking references to make it look more Hemsworthy while colouring, so if you look closely, cut his hair and dye it brown, you'll see that he basically looks like Misha Collins.

Honestly my secret is just to stare at the drawing and be miserable until a friend tells me the pose is not as silly as I think it is (this one IS pretty silly, though, he just looks like a ballerina, poor Thor XDD)

Ahahah yeah I'm guessing feeling miserable is just part of the deal XDD It's a balance between feeling miserable and noticing that nevertheless you're improving. If you felt TOO miserable you'd simply stop, and if you felt completely satisfied then you'd stop improving, I think. :'D

I really like the way you drew his eyes, it really adds to the overall intensity of the picture. I honestly wish they would do the same thing in the movies.
