great illustration! i dont think its sad at all actually. i dont get that feeling from it. i think they made the best of a stormy day instead of dragging the kite home and sulking theyre watching the storm. i love to watch storms so i guess im biased in my opinion.

how did the kite break? Its probably a good thing - you can get struck by lightning if you fly a kite in a storm anyway! Nice work
