Description Weeell couldn't not see shiny new picces and not use them. And I must say the costumes look fantastic this time round XD Though a little shocking just how much leather there is still extra brownie points for making them look more medieval

WOOT! I've been looking all over for new pics of season 3, thank you so much!!!!!!

Team Lather's kinda disbanded now, though, isn't it? I'm not the biggest Allan A Dale fan, sadly (though, I think he's gonna be my saving grace for this season... I don't think I'll like it as much as I liked 2, though it certainly had it's problems), I'm pretty sure he's back on the *cough* 'good' side.

*groans* I still can't believe what they did to poor Richard's hair... it's so... Heathcliff! *clap of thunder* Sorry, the clap of thunder is obligatory after that name. (I didn't much care for Wuthering Heights.) And despite RA's warnings, Guy isn't completely soulless... yet... I dunno, I might be just too much of a Guy fan to relaly think of him as all-the-way evil...

Ooo really? Teehe aww you’re welcome XDD
Aww yep in its original sense- but the amount of leather the boys are wearing nowadays literal team leather is going strong. Oo I wasn’t either but now I’m the same. Well he and Much teehe I love Much XDD

LOL I KNOW! Although with him all wet ans steamed it didn’t look so bad as on the promos teehee. Oo yep Heathcliff and thunder go hand in hand mwha. Aww did you? lol I love the book but it’s hard to find a decent dramatisation of it. Aww nopes I don’t think he is either.

There just isn't enough Much-love in the world XD. Totally agree though, it's hard to not love Much.

On Wuthering Heights... it's good writing, but I hated Heathcliff, and that is such an understatement... and Cathy... and Catherine even... pretty much everyone in that book, except Hareton. Have you seen the 2009 version? The BBC just did a miniseries and I actually liked it and given my opinions of the book, that's a huge recommendation inandof itself .

Teehee ooo that’s true! YAY MUCH!

Lol wow not sure I’ve ever heard of someone hating Heathcliff mwha but I totally understand. He is rather evil mwha and Cathy- she is just a bit too much of a ‘spoiled brat’ for my tastes but I do love the obsessive passion between them. And you’re like me on the liking of character front- my favourite was always Hareton
OOO nopes I haven’t but I’ve seen images and can’t wait for it to be show teehe OOo sounds good then!

*jaw drop* You've NEVER heard of anyone hating Heathcliff?! I can't believe that! But, I can't believe how anyone likes him, so there you go...

I get the passion thing, but that still doesn't redeem him for some 200 pages of malice, malice that he enjoyed performing without the excuse of doing it for love. If that were the case, I would have loved him, but it isn't... he was just a bad person by nature... Well, that's my take on him, anyway, other people, I suppose, have different interpretations.

It's superb, it's on youtube (SHHHHHH!) if you want to see.

LOL nopes. But methinks I have been surrounded by general romantically inclined females (of which I am epically one of them mwha) for a soft spot for brooding men *rolls eyes* lol tis a conundrum. Don’t’ get me wrong I love a brooding silent type of man as much as the next, but Heathcliff was it’s a wee bit too evil lol

Oh nopes for sure it’s in no way a compensation for the terrible things he did. Teehe and its very true he is obviously jaded and more than a little crazy.

OOO I shall have to find it!

So am I, I am partial to dark and brooding too (being a Guy fan, kinda hard not to like brooding men, although Erik's what got me hooked on 'em), but... personality counts for a lot in my book. Which is probably the reason that I am a MUCH bigger Jane Eyre fan, but I'm also convinced that Jane Eyre's the story of my life, so... there is that.

Thy-Demon In reply to nimroderriver [2009-04-05 16:14:26 +0000 UTC]

Yes... it's true! See:
- I'm very plain looking
- Green eyes, pale skin, brown hair, nothing exciting and easily ignorable
- Passionate to nth degree, but strong morals
- I've always fancied older men
- most depressing part of that is I found my Rochester, but we've never met and he lives in Scotland... *sigh*
- I had a close friend who passed away long before her time
- not an artist so much with art (I have a few drawing up), but an artist with words (I'm a poet) and music occassionally (I can sing and play a little piano, unlike Jane, but I rarely compose)
- Not an orphan, but I have my share of family troubles

So... yes, I am Jane, thanks ve much.

Yep . Which is probaly in my top 10 reasons to move to England, which I fully intend to do once I've graduated from college...

I couldn't tell you, sorry . Try Jane Austen though, most girls can relate to her characters pretty well. Out of Austen I'm most like one of her least known characters, Anne Elliot from Persuasion.

Well, in a perfect world, I would actually find a way to live in Cardiff, which is in Wales, actually. However, if I were to look at it practically, I'd have to live somewhere just outside of London as I would probably work in London but like with most large cities it's hell to actually live there.

Yeah...

nimroderriver In reply to Thy-Demon [2009-04-10 10:45:07 +0000 UTC]

Teehee yeps I know I’m a British numpty and I live close to north Wales (and infact have Welsh ancestors ) I’ve not actually been to Cardiff but I’ve been around close to that area and the south coast of Wales- tis beautiful, especially Pembrokeshire. So why Cardiff? OO yeps that’s true- London is the best bet for opportunities although our Northern Cities aren’t so bad at that now. But I’m so glad I live nowhere near London.

Thy-Demon In reply to nimroderriver [2009-04-11 03:07:09 +0000 UTC]

You live in Britain?! *is outrageously jealous* I'd give anything to live in Britain... I'm such an anglophile, it's relaly rather unhealthy.

Why Cardiff? Two very simple reasons:
- they film Doctor Who there
- they film Torchwood there
End of story.

And really, only one reason is important. I am a ginormus Doctor Who fan... and David Tennant fan... so if it were at all possible I would move tehre and stalk find the set. Unfortunately, next to Sumarian, Welsh is the worst language I can think of, no offense, so I would probably die living there.

*nods* MWHAHAAAA indeed I do Awwwww bless why is that?

LOL oh I see mwha now I get it- ooo about to make you even more jealous- I actually have visited the place where they filmed Human Nature and Family of Blood I didn’t know that was where they filmed it before hand- so when I got there and suddenly twigged that I recognised it and were from I was muchly happy (bit a of a Harry Lloyd fan ) it was a nice surprise mwhaaa

LOL awww I see! Aww I love the welsh langue teehe but then I’ve been around it my whole life teehee its odd I grant you bit its sorta a quirky odd and likes to confuse you with letters not being pronounced as they normally are (yes I learn a small bit of welsh- I go so often into Wales to hike)

Sorry for the extreme latency... been very busy (had a play to go perform/rehearse).

Unhealthy because I'm American and the only thing I want is to get out of America, thus posing a rather sticky problem.

O_O SO not fair! I was so impressed by Harry Lloyd in that too! I was used to him being goody-two-shoes Will, and then out of nowhere he does this and I was like, "DUDE! This boy can REALLY act!" Yeah...

Lucky you... I kinda-sorta grew up around Spanish speakers, so SPanish makes sense... it also helps that I took 3 years of it.

Awww that’s okies XD

Aww dears- why do you want to get out of America so much, if that isn’t a too nosey question?

MWHA I know! He does impossible creepy sooooooooooo well teehee and pulls off that Edwardian hairstyle which is always a good thing teehee. Loves him and aye he’s an amazing actor! I’ve seen him in few smaller roles since but I hope to see more of him in bigger roles befitting his skills XDD

Teehee. OOo wow I’d love to be multi-lingual. I only know snatches of welsh and what French I learnt at school lol

Thy-Demon In reply to nimroderriver [2009-04-23 21:13:44 +0000 UTC]

It's fine. Why? Mostly because I'm a tea-drinker in the land of coffee-addicts. Well, that's literally true, but the metaphorical sense was really what I was going for. If you're looking for specifics: I love British culture, the TV, the music, the slang, the styles (well, I don't follow style, but I'm sure if I did I would prefer British to American)the way of life, in essence, your history is so much cooler, the accents are admittedly a factor (I go to school with inner-city kids... I really dislike people who use improper grammar), the weather (I like lots of rain), and I do have extended family that live outside of ondon.

I'm pretty far from multi-lingual. I quit Spanish after last year, in Spanish 4 they relaly focus on the theory and not so much the practice and I just didn't care enough for the language to trudge through that. I've forgotten at least half of what I learned, but I can still trip people up when they use Spanglish and then I actually say something in Spanish, it's funny .

Ooh good good Oooh a see teee well I wouldn’t feel so bad about the literal sense either most of my friends drink coffee and look at like I’m carrying the plague or something because I don’t (mind you, they are from the south and being a northerner, I am generally weird to them all the time anyway lol) Wow you really do love Britain don’t you XDD aww but you don’t like our accents? (oooo I see, that can get a bit annoying yeps, but that’s not all of us) LOL awww our weather is getting some love for once! Ooo you do?

Oh I see- nopes that does sound a little bit annoying. But it’s good that you can still do that!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Thy-Demon In reply to nimroderriver [2009-04-25 00:47:31 +0000 UTC]

No no no! You misuderstand, I hate the accents here in midwestern America! I ADORE British accents, Irish, Scottish, Welsh on occassion, and all the different English accents: Cockney, Liverpudlian (such a fun word), Oxford, London... No, I'm a little ashamed of my rather shallow preference for a rounded vowel, but I am a singer so I kinda have an excuse...

I do, I have an aunt and her four boys who live just outside of Marleybone... hope I spelled that right.

nimroderriver In reply to Thy-Demon [2009-04-25 13:30:11 +0000 UTC]

OOOOOOO now I get it Well I’m very glad to hear that mwha especially the Liverpudlian one (and yeps it is so’s Mancunian ) I live across the river from Liverpool and though don’t have the accent, I do have a bit of a scouse twang Aww you shouldn’t be ashamed! It could be a little quirky trait of yours instead, and yes that is a great excuse.

Oh they do? Oo that’s fancy area I believe, though I wouldn’t really know teehee I’ve only ever been to London or down that way twice. I don’t know it’s either that or Marylebone
