Description Fire gang or Firery from the Labyrinth

This is more like a soft sculpture than a plush. Completely posable down to the fingers.

Stands about 19" tall not counting the tail which is 17" long
Made from fabric, paint, feathers, wire, and clay.
Eyes are green plastic doll eyes and yes his head comes off head is held in place by a strong magnet.

yeah this one was like number 5 I think, can't remember. First one took a lot longer to make lol the original pattern took 3 months just to get right, then figuring out what magnets to use, types of eyes, paint etc. By this one I had it down to a science lol

Oh wow, this is amazing!

 

I adore its face and the fabric used for it! (and the fact the head is removable too :U)

Now I feel I should watch the Labyrinth again!

I can't tell you just how great it is that you actually made the head removable. Despite how insanely awesome the sculpt is in general, the fact that it does that just makes my day. I love everything about it.  You definitely nailed it on looks- and FUN! Yay!  You rock!

also Jim Henson ^_^ based off the artwork of Brian Froud. The birds you're thinking of are the Skeksis So if you liked the Dark Crystal you'll also like Labyrinth ^_^

Sadly due to copyright laws I don't think I will be making any more of these. At least not in this size. I might be able to make smaller ones someday. I have to check into copyright laws again because this one also if different because of the age of the creature.

Thanks Once my commissions are open again I'll be making more by custom order. I also plan to make a "mini" one The first time I made him I think it took about 3 months, 2nd one took a month or so. I get faster the more times I make something

um they are magnets... one is in the head & one is in the body. And they are rare earth magnets so they are very strong and stick together but you can still pull them apart, like the picture on the bottom right.
