Custom order needle felted horse, based off a Peter Stone model.Needle felted wool over soft sculpt body with glass eyes and han-sculpted hooves.
Stands just a little over 7" tall

it's needle felted over a soft sculpture body and has an armature of wire inside that. It's a little hard and complicated to explain....

That looks great even it is not 100% wool.
I made once needlefelted version of the horse Epona from the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time that was 100% wool, only a few pipe cleaners was inside of that. But the anatomy was quite bad and it had really weak legs.

Even I am not a huge fan of horses, the needle felted horse was a really fun to do! And my friend that likes horses really liked that felted horse. Maybe someday I will make the Epona version 2 for her.

Yeah the only thing that's not wool is the soft sculpture "core" and the hooves & eyes the rest is still all needle felted wool & it's more wool than anything else
