As a big fan of cartography for fictional places, it's no wonder that this artwork really appeals to me.
Starting with the picture itself, it's an incredible faithful recreation of the game's official map as it includes much of the terrain and general location quite accurately. Every river, mountain, city and regional border are replicated perfectly. So simply as a derivative work, it's nearly flawless.
The colouring works incredibly well in thuis picture, going from the green field of the plains to the more yellowy interpretation for the regions of Eastmarch, to the white pallets of the Northern territories. It's clear that the artist has given a great deal of though to the regional environment when considering the proper colours to use.
Moving onto the writing now and once again we have an incredibly faithful recreation of the known facts from the game. Each of the regions and cities displayed in the maps are describe with incredible levels of detail. Everything you'd need to know from the names of the leaders to the primary sources of income can be found in the various descriptions.
If I had to come up with one criticism, it's that some of the outlines seem somewhat untidy. I know it's not reasonable to expect a perfect picture, especially when this level of detail and information is being planned for it, but while I agree that the image is all-in-all great, that tiny detail keeps it from being perfect.
Overall it's clear that this work comes from someone with both a love of the source material and a wide-reaching level of knowledge for the world's lore. A work of both love and dedication and I give it high marks all the way.

You have to have a map when you are exploring.

I like the style of this a lot. There are some inaccuracies here and there, but when I think of maps of "medieval" fantasy worlds.....there SHOULD be some inaccuracy actually. I mean just look at real maps of medieval earth. Cartographers no idea where anything outside their own backyard was really at and half the time they were drawing stuff that was being described through second of third hand accounts.
Overall, This is one of the prettier and more aesthetically pleasing maps of Skyrim I have seen. Good work!

cool. if you look close enough at the outline you'll see that the map is shaped like the meme of troll face.

Lovely colored pencil work! Far better than many Skyrim maps without the hand drawn touch.

If I had to choose which of the holds I'd like to rule, I'd probably pick Haafingar. It's smaller, fewer people living there, one way in or out (not counting the sea). Seems like it'd be easier to manage.

It probably would be, although you wouldn't make much of a living, given the general state of living.

Quite a detailed map you've come up with here. It must have taken you ages to finish.

This is pretty cool. The style and the text especially remind me of an old-school pen-and-paper RPG from the 80s. Which is sort of awesome, the more I think about it.

interesting, really good, but some of your details are a bit off, I believe. I think I saw in a tip that Whiterun, because of their strategic position, was the largest city in Skyrim. Also, I can tell that you did this from an imperial stand point because in Stormcloak Falkreath became of some importance

I think that Solitude is the biggest - but they might be about the same, I'm not sure. I wrote the information from a neutral POV, so Falkreath, in that case would be less important.
But anyway, only Bethesda could make it perfect, because they created Skyrim.

Extremely stylized. All I can think of are the maps with the sea monsters that are drawn into places of unknown territory.
Love it. No wonder this took you two months...this is the secret project you've been working on, right?

Here be dragons! I should just put that in huge lettering across the top haha!
Yes, this is the secret project. I was determined to keep it that way until I was done! XD
