The idea is very pleasing. And it is definetely original and refreshing
The only minus of this work are the hands. Here Ariel is behind Mowgli and it looks like he is leading her or htey are at least going together. They are smiling, so there is no danger. But it is Ariel who clings to Mowgli's hand and that is just not natural - he would have instinctively curled his fingers to match hers,not just keeping his hand stiff. Itwould be okay if it was Ariel who had a straight hand - we could assume that she tripped/didn't know where to go and Mowgli took her hand. Here it just doesn't work. Also Ariel looks a little stiff on her legs as if she is for the first time wearing high heels e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=" (Smile)"/> but that can be counted as intentional,Iguess? Cause she is originally a mermaid.
