I started this as a normal airbrushing of a photo, then removed the nose, darkened the eyes... I didn't have this idea in my mind. But I've been thinking about a story... That probably inspired this image. But, in my mind, those creatures are white skinned. I'll try something...The girl is from ~Nekoha-stock .

What a beautiful idea. You can so easily read into this the lesson that just because someone is of a different race (as opposed to species) that doesn't mean they aren't human. I like it.
