Am I weird because I like the building and not the clouds? Great shot, HDR at it's finest.

Beautiful, all 88 Stories of it...Makes me miss HK all the more. I didn't get any great shots of IFC II, when I was there. I'm excited for the new "tallest building on the island" to be built...108 stories, if memory serves right.

The new one? You mean not IFC?

This is so far the tallest on the island, but talking about the whole Hong Kong, this will not be so when the new ICC is completed.

Yeah, the ICC is the one I'm talking about. I'm excited for it to be finished. I caught the construction of it this past summer...hopefully I'll have a chance to visit when it's done. My favourite building is still the Bank Of China building...It's amazing.

Indeed, that Bank of China, which is right next to my office, is just plain awesome...wonderful stuff!

Cheers niteangel. I'll be on the look out. I think I'll look for a sigma one.

I read a review about wide-lenses, and Canon got the highest rating. I am not sure, but I am also a Canon fan, haha...so I am biased

AndrewToPhotography In reply to niteangel [2007-09-30 11:11:05 +0000 UTC]

I've settled for the sigma one. I read good reviews on it. I currently have a sigma 18-200mm. Canon is way too pricey for lens....and no lens hood included

niteangel In reply to AndrewToPhotography [2007-10-01 01:23:07 +0000 UTC]

Haha, I don't really mind the hood. Maybe I really need to get 10mm for widest shots I am an architect and I do architectural shots frequently, that's why

Its beautiful, and the perspective is wonderful. Off center, so it creates more interest with just enough of the sun in the corner for balance while not taking away from your focus. I really enjoy the color play as well, the complimentary blues and oranges, and the way the color shifts slowly as it travels up the building. The ghost-ish people are really quite interesting as well, everything else is so solid, its a nice contrast.

That looks like a really really nice piece of property. Its interesting how such a huge structure has only a little bit of land around it. Anyways, nicely shot!

Awesome photo, I'm faving it!

I always like to see reflections in the windows of skyscrapers. I wonder
how the photo would look if you stood at the tip of the yellow markings on the street and shot directly upwards. with the builidngs on the left and right,
it might look like a sai (the martial arts weapon).

Hopefully I can visit Hong Kong someday. This photo makes me want to!
