Hero…? You call me a 'hero'… Tsch! That only serves to show how little you know about me. What do you know…? HOW could you know…? Why does it even cross your mind that you understand the true meaning of that word?

I'm no hero, by any means. I may be strong… I may be courageous… but I could never deserve that title. There are so many things I've done that I'll always regret. So many words unsaid… So many deeds unfinished… So many doors… unopened.

So many have had to sacrifice since I came… Many of my comrades have fallen over the years, and I've been swept up too fast to help them to their feet. I could never undo what's happened. The past is the past; once someone's dead, you can never bring them back.

I've fought so hard all these years for one reason: to thank them. There has never been anyone on this planet that wouldn't give up something to help another, be it time, money, food… even their own life.

I can never be a hero, but I'll admit to one thing. I've always stood beside my friends with loyalty, fought for them with incredible ferocity, and defended them with unrivaled valor. That valor shines with the intensity of a million stars… and on this day, in this hour… it burns brighter than ever! And that's because… I'm fighting for them!

The ones that I care about…
The ones that I love…
The ones that I have, do, and ALWAYS WILL believe in!
