Revelation 2:7
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, I will grant to eat of the tree of life which is in the Paradise of God.

Ephesus was a grand church and by looks one which followed God...except for one problem
God examines the heart, and the heart of Ephesus no longer sought His own.
Even if one is saved, the message is still the same as it was for the church of Ephesus-Repent!
We are charged to examine our hearts and see what it is we truly love most-
If not Christ then to repent and love Him as we did at first.

Just as faith without works is dead, so works without love are useless.
Let us be careful to examine ourselves
