I got really bored this afternoon and decide to try out some more colors. This original started out as an all green girl with green hair but as I was drawing it I was listening to the The Little Mermaid Broadway soundtrack and got inspired to try to do a mermaid instead. So somehow it came out like this, hahaha. Every layer made the drawing a little bit different, especially for the face and i think I'm really proud of this. Animazement print? HELL YES!Roughly about 4 hours of work in Paint Tool Sai.

I like the painterly feeling of the image and the use of greens and reds. It is not often that I see people use mostly complementary colors to create a successful piece. I like the dynamic posing and how it isn't just a straight one, standing shot of her. It makes her feel more alive and I can imagine her floating within the water.

This piece is really fantastic, Miss Nixier. The colour choices are, of course, lovely. That red and green work great together, and I really dig her hair and tail particularly. Also, how she's got a little hair caught in her mouth, I think that's a neat detail.

its a nice pic it nice to see you test your painting and your face is nice but you could so much more dont be afried to get more contrast that will really make your face pop out
My favoitre parts of this pic is the hip and the part where the tail bends rigth before the fins and the swrily for your elbow (ive been doing that for one of my chaters in my comic so much fun) as for your breast come on man if your going to do tits get some dpeth in there! lol

Naw not really, its kinda a mixture of both really. There are alot of computers and class for color theory and things like that but really I just started so i can't say what the art classes are like since I haven't had any yet. Lol I hope to have some soon.

eh its a coggle for art I really dont like studying art I just like the darw and look at picutres and all that happen was that people would like my art I didnt learn anything its Commaninty Coggle what can I say I'm slowly working my way threw it but to tell you the turth I doubt I will finsh I just dont care I was thinking about going into pyschogly though or nero seince ive read about 7 books about the barin in the last two years so that would be cool but I'm not very confaint about me doing real scholling like math

8D thanks bob! I really do like digital painting, more with pencil lines or lineless art really, so I've been testing things out in Sai. Hopefully the nudity won't be too much of a problem. lol

Nudity really won't be a problem for Animazement. Just put some masking tape over the naughty bits in the display print, so kids (or the easily offended) can't see it, and you'll be okay.
