Amazing! This reminds me of a very old RPG for the Sega Genesis system called "Shining Blade". It may not be a true reflection perhaps, but it does remind me of one of the characters in that game (Pella?). It also reminds me of the hours that I spent playing it - with it's tactical-esque elements well before Final Fantasy Tactics was ever conceived, much less born.
