ALL RIGHTY THEN... whew, finally done with this! I busted my but over the whole weekend just to get this in on time, but then I found out the deadline was extended...(flips laptop)ARRRGHH!!!>
Anyway this is my submission for Manga-Art-NOW's Level Up contest.
The one on the left I drew about 10 months ago, it was of my OC Dylan[link] in one of his battle forms. Through lots of training, hard work, better materials and several bottles of Mello Yello I can see a lot of improvement. But I've still got a long way to go.
So let's hope I win!
AND ALSO... I really need some critiques on this. It might be good but I feel like I did something wrong or soothing. Since I don't have a membership, please use the comments!

It looks like you improved so much! I'm not much of an artist but more of a writer. The only thing I may notice is the shadowing is somewhat inconsistent. The foot looks like it should be behind it rather then directly below it. Other then that it looks really good.

ok, well my opinion would be to make his right arm a little longer. i can see that from the perspective of the shot, it will look abit smaller, however you have to be sure to keep it proportioned with the body and the other arm. also be careful with the shape of the lower arms. they way youve drawn them here are good but they seem to look almost "backwards", this is only because the elbow is sticking out as it is. One last thing, on the hand on the newer one, be sure to distinguish between the lengths of the fingers, especially between the thumb and index finger. Otherwise the hands tend to look backwards or ill-proportioned. One good way to check your proportioning is to hold your paper up backwards to a lamp or something, and look at your drawing mirored. This often helps me work on how long each body segment should be. Well good luck and your improvement is really good for such a short amount of time. Keep up the good work and i'm sorry if i was a bit long-winded. ^^ cant wait to see more of your art, ciao!

Woah! A really big improvement! Great job!
One thing I may say is that his right arm and hand (The one not holding the sword) looks a bit weird. Maybe its me but it looks backwards...?
