Description
This is a small painting I did for practice from a step by step book "Read to paint watercolour landscape" by Terry Harrison. It didn't came out as the one on the book, but I am quite satisfied with the result.The colours are a little bit darker in the original, I did not learn yet how to use my new camera. I'll try to fix them as soon as possible.
Every suggestion will be more than welcome.
Watercolour on 300gr. 12,5x18 cm (5"x7") Fabriano watercolour rough paper.

ma quindi si riesce ad usare l'acquerello anche su semplice carta ruvida? perchΓ© a me si arriccia tutta con l'acqua

Di riuscirci ci si riesce, bisogna perΓ² arraccarla bene bene col nastro adesivo ad una tavola. Solo che quella che ho usato io Γ¨ carta da acquerello, giΓ incollata sui 4 lati per evitare l'effetto riccio, ma io ho dimenticato di scriverlo nella descrizione. Provvedo subito.

Perchè non si arricci è importante il peso della carta. Questa pesa 300 g per metro quadro.

this is a really beautiful piece. Watercolors can be hard to work with, but you did really well on this! The only thing I think I would suggest is using a different color for the shadows on the door. It looks a little flat by using the same blue. Maybe just adding a hint of burnt umber or another color to darken the blue might help. Otherwise, good job!

You are right, actually the book version has darker blue on the door and on its shades.
