Description Zbrush
Creature head - updated.

Wait 4 loading or download for watching, thanks.

One of very first attempts in Zbrush. And I'm so weak in organic modeling... so this one is very simple n little thing. I'm just a beginner in Zb n sometime give it a try. Now I rarely touch this application, hope get back n learn more about it some day...

People make the great works with that mat many times already... it's a quite popular Zb mat. But now I don't have Zb install in my PC nor materials. You can go Zb official website and find it in Material libraby, I guess it's there.

Hmm... really? Long time ago, I visit there and download stuffs, I don't see any problem. BTW, even you don't visit official website, downloading those resource is easy 'coz people floating them around internet...

What? Zb 3.5? Is it available cr4cked version long time ago, isn't it? I try 3.5 for months and didn't see any limitations. Even Zb 3.5R3 is out there for a while. What exactly problem to get zb 3.5? BTW, I don't upgrade, I use brand new version. Can't you get plugin to work correctly or sth?...

Google translated sentence? Thanks

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

nnq2603 In reply to shlomit [2009-07-06 07:01:33 +0000 UTC]

That's fog option in render setting (click fog button in render menu to enable fog effect). You control 3 sliders (Intensity, Depth1, Depth2) in fog tab, and get the setting that you feel good.

Looks nice! but it seems like the mesh maybe is somewhat unclear on the horns at the back of the head, and the big ones at front. I'd love to see more details, and some roughness all over. Can you upload some more of this one?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Martious In reply to Martious [2009-03-03 17:11:14 +0000 UTC]

okey.. I've checked out the rest now. What you should to is to try to retopologisize (what a word) the mesh. Thereby you'll get a better mesh, and thereby be able to get more from your figure.. [link]
here are some great lessons. And see if you'll find some about retopologisize. it's a boring process, but really rewarding

Thanks (:. This totally contain about 0.4 mil poly, I know it's somewhat lack of poligon for fine details. Firstly I'm a newbie, I join Zb lately n almost just try some very basic feature (feel a lot of thing wrong with GUI n internal technique in Zb). I also mask some unsmooth surface and try to divide geometry but fail with a report msg (while HD dividing is work but I think my doodle doesn't need that kinda high quality).

And about horns, I made them out by normal brush so maybe wrong way, I notice it lack of poly but that time I don't know how to quickly create that such object except using brush.

I'll try your suggestion via video tutorial, and about retopo--. I'll read & take care about something more than now. Thanks again for kindly explanation.

As I said, it is a nice piece!

so just keep up the good work.. UI is interchangeable, I use one of them, edit it, and save out as standard. (i like the one with the brushes at the bottom)

zBrush is a wonderful tool when you get to know it.. and just to clear out some things: I'm also a newbie, I just like to share what I have learned..

You have uploaded a movie in which you show how you model it, right? Itwas insect head, I think. this result is outstanding. I love it.

Yes, I've uploaded a movie that record apart of modeling. Since I upload it, long time I don't try Zbrush... Today, I've just re-open it and do something to update some details to it. And I think it's quite nice for me now. Thanks very much for you loving .
