As much as I love japan and its culture , this symbol has been around through all cultures , refered to as many different things. Triquetra.. Triskelle .. Trinity . if you remove one of the spirals it become Yin and Yang .
Forgive me , that must have sounded rude and you were being Kind . My intent was to make it known that this is a Sacred symbol that All cultures have taken on in some shape or form . your exposure to it was obviously the mitsu domo .
