Custom repaint and hair restyle of Disney Store Belle doll as portrayed by Emma Watson from the upcoming live action film Beauty and the Beast. BODY HAS BEEN UPGRADED TO A MORE SUITABLY PROPORTIONED ONE, WHICH I FEEL IS MORE TO SCALE WITH THE SIZE OF THE HEAD. I THINK THE ALTERNATE BODY IS MORE VISUALLY SUITABLE FOR THE REPAINT. Also ponytail, has been considerably scaled dwon to be more scale accurate. The inset photo on the top center shows the original Disney Store factory painted doll.
Gaston received a full facial repaint. also, real hair was applied over molded hair, restyled and real hair ponytail added.
Repaint is a new form of pop art, wherein the doll's face is treated like a three dimensional canvas, with the added challenge of painting within a very small area . Since dolls are basically miniature pieces, brush strokes and shading have to be very controlled and precise.

I agree that it doesn't matter if it's in a children movie, but children should not know if they're gay OR STRAIGHT until after high school graduation, when they are fully mature physically and more mature mentally, make wiser choses as far as love, and don't have to risk being pregnant before graduation or falling in love with a stranger on the internet that is lying to their faces and is actually a murderer or a rapist or getting a STD etc. If something gay or straight is in a movie for children, it shouldn't be to relate to the child. It should be to just have fun and something the writers wanted to put in.

And what's wrong with gay characters? Look around you. There are more gay and lesbian people than you can count. If it bugs you THAT much on this character and his sexuality in the movie, then you shouldn't go and see it. Times change. No need to be so uptight about it.
The original is a fucking cartoon. In case you haven't wondered, the movie is a remake of the animated version, meaning there will be some minor changes. They did the same with Maleficent. Tell me how that's any different? One gay character is not going to kill you.
